Note: Only two of the nine "Young Bond" novels about the young James Bond's adventures at Eton College have been published in Danish. However, the first two books in the series, "SilverFin" and "Blood Fever", have both been published twice in different Danish translations. In 2012, only six years after Gyldendal released "SilverFin" in Erik Egholm's translation, publisher Stella Books decided to reissue Charlie Higson 's novel in their own translation which clearly tries to appeal more directly to a younger readership.
The new translation, titled "Monsteret fra dybet" [The monster from the deep], was done by the publishers themselves, Marianne and Birgitte Muldbjerg under the nom de plume "Themsisters". Their version differs a great deal from Gyldendal's edition although it does correct a single error in Chapter 14, where the longitudinal target 80 yards in Egholm's translation of "SilverFin" had grown to 240 meters. In "Monsteret fra dybet", the distance is correctly indicated as 75 meters.
